Hey everyone, my name is Mushana. I'm a first year Pathfinder but I've been in guiding since Sparks. You don't hear very many names like mine in Canada; that's because my mom is from Africa. Apart from my mom I also have a lot of family on my dad's side spread  throughout Canada. I love to travel to go see them but I love my friends back home too.

Some of my favourite things to do are reading and running. Being outdoors is what I really love and I love to play almost any sport. Indoors, I play the piano. I've been playing since I was little.

 My favourite subject in school is probably science. I especially love to do experiments. When I'm older I probably want to do something in science but I also want to be a baker, a lawyer, a judge, an architect, the Prime Minister, and a photographer. Some people say that  I'm crazy but I just think I'm really ambitious!

I like to think that I'm a trendsetter and I'm happy to say that I think flared jeans are making a comeback. My wardrobe mainly has a LOT of jeans, and really bright colourful tops.

I'm Catherine, and I'm from Toronto, Ontario, and I'm 15. I really love writing and photography, and the outdoors! I love going canoe tripping, and I also really like to travel, as well as do volunteer work. I'm a junior leader for a Brownie unit, and I really love doing that! Hey girls! My name's Anne! I'm 13 and in my second year of Pathfinders. I live in Ontario and I've received my Lady Baden Powell award. I've been called many different things like cat, unique, creative, and artistic. I love, and I mean LOVE, to draw. I have so many sketch books and they're all full.

My room is like my giant scrapbook because I tape pictures to the walls. Not like pictures of me and friends or family: pictures of Anime, Manga and video games. I love anime so much I have made it my goal to find an anime that each of my friends will like and make them watch it. There is such a wide variety out there. Getting off topic a bit..

I like to wear my hair in many unique ways. I don't dye my hair but since it is long, I can play with it and try different things. One problem with that - my hair does not stay curled no matter how much hair spray you put in it won't last longer than an hour.

I read a lot, however, I have a very narrow range of books I like to read. Warriors, Little Fur and House of Night are the main ones I'm reading. I am a HUGE warriors fan and have all but nine of the books.

I strive to stand out and be unique, so I'm not afraid to be who I am and have fun. I've often worn cat ears I made myself to school. There's not much else to say. Can't wait to start blogging!

Hello Canada :)

My name is Jamie, and I'm from a place in rural Newfoundland that is the textbook definition of a small town. I'm 14 years old and I love reading, writing, travelling, and all things 'girly'. I am a self-proclaimed nerd; I especially enjoy English and Science, and I someday hope to be a doctor.

 I wanted to join this blog group to share my thoughts and ideas with other girls, as well as to communicate with them on the things going on in the world around us. I look forward to blogging about topics that affect myself and other girls from all over the country, as well as my personal experiences :)

Of my circle of friends, I am the bold girl, loud and proud, who is not afraid to speak her mind, (and of course, the one that my friends are often embarrased of ;) ). I'm very opinionated,  and I stand up for the things in which I believe. 

I live to please myself and not those around me. I am who I am, and if someone doesn't like that, then that's perfectly fine. I believe that you should love yourself no matter how others feel about you, because at the end of the day, it is you and no one else who has to live with the decisions you make. I talk far too much and I love to have a good time. My friends and family mean the absolute world to me<3

Hi there, my name is Claire, and I live in Ontario. I’m a Pathfinder, and I have been in Guiding for eight years. I have received my Lady Baden Powell award and I am aiming to get my Canada Cord award in the future. One of the things many people find interesting about me is that I absolutely love to write. I write fifty to one hundred page novels about vampires, angels, and other strange, mythical creatures, and I am also currently working on publishing my own book. :D  My favourite subject in school is English, is which I tend to do way more work than needed. My wardrobe is basically made of graphic tees, jeans and dresses. I love to wear jewellery, and I find that none of my outfits are complete with a big, black bow. I have a tabby cat named Joe, and my favourite singer is Adam Lambert. I love the Twilight Saga, and I’m team Edward all the way. One of my pet peeves is when my nails aren’t painted. In Pathfinders, I’m the most enthusiastic about doing badge-work and other activities.
